Croatian Visa Information
Please,
check if you need a transit visa first on the Croatian government web site:
http://www.mvp.hr/index-en.htm#
go to:
4 Diplomacy Directory 4Visa requirements
In
order to obtain necessary visas, please notify the conference organizers (incd-opatija@irmo.hr ) that you require
an invitation letter. We advise delegates to start making all necessary
arrangements as soon as possible.
We
would like to remind those who need an entry visa for Croatia but have no
Croatian Diplomatic Representative in their respective country, that they
must ASK FOR A TRANSIT VISA IF THEY TRAVEL
THROUGH ONE OF THE EU COUNTRIES (for example in Rome, Paris, Zurich,
Frankfurt, Munich etc). It is important to note that delegates are advised to
start making all necessary preparation for the EU (Schengen) transit visa (documents,
as well as the accompanying Invitation letters) as soon as possible because
citizens of non-member EU countries could possibly wait up to 3 weeks to get
one.
If you are arriving in Trieste, Italy:
You may
need a visa for Italy – please contact the Italian embassy in your country. http://www.esteri.it/lafarnesina/indirizzi/amb-cons.htm
Please note that you may
also need a transit visa to pass through Slovenia from Italy to Croatia:

Foreign Affairs
Please
contact the conference organizers for any assistance or additional information
that you might need.
